Datto has announced over 750 new partners amid new European investment.
At DattoCon in Barcelona the company said it now had more than 3000 MSP partners in the region. Globally, Datto now serves more than 500,000 SMEs in over 130 countries through over 14,000 MSPs.
In addition to the company’s data centres in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Iceland, Datto invested in a new data centre in the United Kingdom at the start of 2018, and is opening a new data centre in Germany in the first half of 2019, aiming to migrate European customers’ data in time for Brexit
It says it continues to hire in EMEA with 40 open positions. Datto’s regional workforce now has more than 230 employees based in Europe, located across seven offices.
Markets and Markets’ Managed Services Market Forecast, 2017-2022 estimates that that SMEs already spend $40bn annually on managed IT services worldwide and that is expected to grow to $72bn by 2022. In EMEA SME spend on Managed Services in EMEA is estimated at $10bn today and is expected to grow to $18bn annually by 2022, it says.
