Provider of the mobility Platform-as-a-Service (mPaaS) solution VeliQ has announced new additions to its management team as the company plans to expand its global partner programme, partly facilitated by a 250% y/y growth in revenue.

The company has appointed Edgar Jager, an ex-SAP-er, as its new Executive Vice President for Worldwide Sales. He will replace Steve Crummey who has been promoted to Chair of the Board of Directors.
Jager joins from SAP where he was responsible for OEM business and third party software development in the EMEA region. Prior to that, he held various senior management positions at Adobe Corporation, Macromedia and Blue Martini Software.

Additionally, as of last autumn, Ron van Bijsterveld holds the position of Chief Technology Officer.

"Our mission is to make the management of all mobile devices within organisations as simple and secure as possible. To facilitate that, we have developed a complete mPaaS solution that is being used increasingly by partners across the world for their client mobility solutions. In 2013, a record year in which we achieved in excess of 250% growth in revenue, we also succeeded in identifying the best people capable of strengthening VeliQ’s profile globally. Both Edgar Jager and Ron van Bijsterveld possess the requisite experience, as well as a valuable network of contacts,” says Alex Bausch, CEO and founder of VeliQ.
