Exertis signing aims to increase margins in mobile

Exertis has sealed an agreement with ATP Enable to provide its B2B resellers with the opportunity to add airtime to their mobile hardware sales, thereby increasing their revenue and margin. Through ATP Enable, Exertis will allow their resellers to compare, build and quote on SIM Only airtime deals from all the major networks, including O2, Three, EE and Vodafone.

Rik Hubbard (pictured), Exertis commercial and services director for mobile, said: “We are pleased to be able to provide this additional service and revenue opportunity for our B2B resellers, who can now simply add a SIM Only airtime package to their mobile, laptop and tablet device sales.

“With ATP Enable, there’s an easy-to-use portal that removes the complexity of finding the best airtime deals as well as showing the margin available.”

Richard Nisbett,  ATP Enable managing director, said: “Our portal has been created so that, even if you’re new to airtime, you can easily find the best deals and create a quote in seconds. ATP also manages all the connection process so you don’t have too.”

He said: “There are a variety of tariff options and these get refreshed regularly, and we offer a variety of substantial commissions that are paid to the reseller. It creates another reason to speak to your customers to keep them engaged with your business.”

Also in the mobile space, last December, Exertis appointed James Goddard as sales and commercial director for its MTR subsidiary. Goddard will have overall responsibility for the management of MTR, a service and solutions provider that specialises in extending the lifecycle of mobiles and tablet devices through refurbishment.
