Dutch MSP Your.Cloud has entered the UK market through acquiring HDUK, which has offices in Exeter, Devon and in Manchester.
With over 7,500 users, HDUK is a provider of hosted desktop solutions for the accountancy sector in the UK. Your.Cloud says it aims to leverage HDUK’s expertise and grow its presence in the UK through future acquisitions.
Established in 2010, HDUK will keep its name and operate independently within the Your.Cloud group of companies. All management and staff are being retained
Matthew Healey, CEO of HDUK, said: “We will benefit from being part of a larger group of decentralised European IT companies. This means faster adoption of technological advances and the sharing of best practices.”
Leon van Meel, general manager at Your.Cloud, added: “By joining Your.Cloud, HDUK can now easily offer new high-end services we have already developed within our group, like our 24×7 SOC-SIEM proactive cybersecurity platform, to help their customers stay safe and in control.
“The UK is a market we have been following closely, and we are sure we can add both value and gain new insights from it, which we can apply to our other companies.”
Amsterdam-headquartered Your.Cloud owns around 25 companies and employs around 1,500 staff. It is currently generating revenue of around €350m.
