Forfusion Ltd has announced it has become the first Cisco supplier in the North of England to achieve Cisco’s latest specialisation in Environmental Sustainability.
Introduced by Cisco earlier this year, this new specialisation aims to equip Cisco partners with the knowledge to help their customers responsibly repurpose or recycle end-of-use products.
Gavin Young, Cisco partner account manager, said: “Team Forfusion has achieved the Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation, demonstrating a commitment to drive positive environmental change and creating an inclusive future.
“This is deserving recognition that Forfusion is not only dedicated to technological advancement such as SD-WAN connectivity, but it also has a strong moral and environmental compass too.”
With the specialisation and Takeback Incentive, partners will also be rewarded for helping customers migrate to the most up-to-date technologies and responsibly dispose of the used hardware enabling them to achieve their sustainability targets.
Headquartered in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Forfusion designs, implements and manages mission-critical networking infrastructure for large public and private sector companies.
“We are incredibly proud and grateful to have been awarded the Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation. This knowledge aligns with our company core values entirely and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” added Steven Forrest (pictured), CEO at Forfusion. “We always strive to deliver, not just the best for our customers, but to achieve impeccable results with respectful regard for the environment and the communities around us.”
In addition to this accreditation, Forfusion has also appointed Kevin Almond, a dedicated head of customer success.
