Former AWS UK&I lead joins Microsoft

Darren Hardman (pictured), formerly of AWS UK&I Lead, is joining Microsoft as EMEA Industry Leader and Corporate VP.

Hardman, who was previously the EMEA President of Avanade, will now be reporting directly to Microsoft EMEA President Ralph Haupter.

He will head the team responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of initiatives aimed at serving ‘key industry customers’ in EMEA.

Hardman said: “The approach Microsoft is taking to help industry customers transform perfectly aligns with my own ethos around the importance of maintaining a total focus on customer success.”
