Boomi’s appointment of former Deloitte CIO Larry Quinlan as a new board member will help the connectivity and automation service firm navigate through its next phase as a company, claims Boomi CEO David Meredith.
Quinlan (pictured) brings 35-plus years of expertise to Boomi, having worked with Fortune 500 companies, and was responsible for overseeing over 10,000 IT professionals spanning 175 countries.
He also sits on numerous boards, including those of two public companies: ServiceNow and Jones Lang LaSalle.
“All businesses must transform for today’s world, and intelligent connectivity and automation are crucial for success in that endeavor,” said Quinlan. “Boomi’s continued leadership, coupled with its platform and culture, make this company a force to be reckoned with.”
Quinlan joins Boomi after Francisco Partners and TPG Capital paired up to acquire the firm from Dell Technologies for $4bn last year.
