Communication services firm Gamma says John Murphy will now oversee its channel unit.
Current COO Murphy will expand his responsibilities to the Gamma business unit, which encompasses the channel, service provider and SME routes to market.
This announcement comes as Daryl Pile, who has played a leading role in the evolution of the UK wholesale channel community within Gamma, leaves the business to pursue another opportunity. During his 21 years with Gamma, Pile held several senior roles covering wholesale, dealer and the public sector.
Murphy joined Gamma in 2011 and has held several leadership roles within the organisation.
He said: “I look forward to building on the strong relationships we have with our channel partners. Together with the brilliant leadership and partner teams we have within Gamma, I see a wealth of exciting growth opportunities through the channel.”
