Gamma Communications has acquired Coolwave Communications, an international SMS and voice services provider.
Gamma currently provides UK communications services to a number of the world’s UCaaS, CPaaS and CCaaS providers, as well as several hyperscalers, and it says the acquisition will enhance its delivery of voice services in over 100 countries.
“This helps accelerate the execution of our overall strategy by serving the communications needs of global organisations both large and small, by providing a highly scalable technical footprint, underpinning our SIP, Microsoft Direct Routing and Operator Connect propositions,” the provider added.
"The Coolwave team and capabilities are a superb complimentary fit to our service provider team,” said Daryl Pile, managing director of Gamma Business. “Together, we now deliver a range of internationally available services to over 400 existing customers. The deal will enable us to expand existing relationships and drive new ones, accelerating growth in the global voice services market."
