Hornetsecurity, the German email cloud security provider, is attacking the UK and Ireland channel market through a strategic partnership with cyber security distributor Brigantia. The new partnership follows Hornetsecurity’s acquisition of the Poole, UK-based email security provider Everycloud in January. The new alliance will give the Hannover-based vendor access to the distributor's network of resellers throughout the UK and Ireland and support its plans to become a “UK market leader within 12 months”, said Hornetsecurity.
Brigantia, which has offices in London and Ripon, North Yorkshire, will be looking to emulate the market penetration Hornetsecurity has seen in countries including Germany and Spain. The vendor has a presence in 11 countries. Hornetsecurity’s email security includes spam protection, virus filters, legally compliant archiving and encryption and protection for users of Microsoft 365, as well as other email systems.

Last month, Canada's CloudOak struck a deal with Brigantia to sell its cloud-based business continuity solution Plan4Continuity to managed service providers in the UK and Ireland.
