Dutch headquartered IT services company Getronics has named Tom Regent as Chief Commercial Officer. This senior appointment for the Getronics Group aims to add further weight to its senior team, now under new ownership and led by Executive Chairman, Kenton Fine.
Regent will lead sales and marketing globally. Most recently he ran his own consulting business, advising companies on growth strategies and sales transformation, before which he spent two years as Chief Commercial Officer of Colt. Prior to that, he served as President Global Banking and Financial Markets unit at BT, leading a team of more than 2000 industry experts delivering networked IT solutions to financial institutions globally. Additionally, while at BT he held the position of President Global Sales and Marketing, in charge of worldwide sales operations, marketing, channels and bid management.
Says Fine, “We’ve promised our colleagues and our clients an injection of energy, expertise and long-term investment. We’re also injecting even more talent. Tom will lead our sales operations globally with a focus on providing an even better offering and service for our clients. The Getronics Group has gone through a challenging period of transition prior to my involvement as Executive Chairman but that’s now in the past and we are delighted with the progress over the past few months.”
