Network visibility vendor Gigamon has appointed Stuart Jones as senior director for service provider business, to help communications service providers (CSPs) manage, optimise and consolidate complex hybrid cloud environments.
“The hire forms part of the company’s dedicated recruitment drive as it continues to build out its world-class team in EMEA,” said the US-headquartered firm.
Jones has over 20 years of experience in the IT and telecoms space, having held positions at firms including Splunk and Symantec. He has specific expertise in the challenges of converting to a cloud-first way of working, and will provide support to customers shifting to virtual 5G networks safely and securely.
He will also help organisations implement zero trust frameworks.
