Security solutions vendor Gigamon has appointed Jon Kane (pictured) as its channel and alliance director for the EMEA region.
He joins Gigamon with over 20 years of channel cyber security experience, including previous roles at FireEye and VMware.
Gigamon said his immediate focus will be on supporting partner enablement across the region, bolstering the Gigamon channel team, and educating the channel on the “benefits and return on investment” from Gigamon solutions for cloud and network security.
The appointment is a “key strategic hire”, said the vendor, as it “continues to help channel partners enhance customers’ security posture with deep observability” that will “accelerate digital transformation initiatives”.
