Infinigate Cloud extends MSP play with SonicWall

Infinigate Cloud, a business unit within the Infinigate Group, has announced a new distribution deal with security vendor SonicWall.

By extending the relationship SonicWall already had with the Infinigate Group, Infinigate Cloud says it will bring “additional expertise and channel reach in the UK”.

Michael Frisby, senior vice president of cloud services at the Infinigate Group, said: “Like Infinigate Cloud, SonicWall is passionate about helping MSPs and MSSPs build profitable businesses which keep their customers secure across a wide range of scenarios. In addition to making the existing SonicWall solution portfolio available, in the coming months we will be working jointly to bring new innovative MSP and cloud-oriented service offerings to the market.”

Luca Taglioretti, vice president, EMEA South & MSSP Programs, SonicWall, added: “Our partners are at the heart of every decision we make and we are committed to providing MSPs and MSSPs with the technology and support they need to succeed. SonicWall’s technology coupled with Infinigate Cloud’s marketplace capabilities will make it even easier for MSSPs and MSPs to offer their customers the best protection against today's ever-evolving threat landscape.”

In other SonicWall news, the company has appointed Christine Bartlett as senior vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO). Bartlett will oversee the global marketing team, with responsibility for building the global brand and driving partner marketing.

She joins from Cisco Systems, where she served as the senior director of integrated marketing, including channel marketing.

Bartlett’s appointment is in addition to other recent leadership hirings, including Jason Carter as chief revenue officer, Peter Burke as chief product officer, Chandrodaya Prasad as executive vice president of global product management, and Michelle Ragusa-McBain as global channel chief.
