Enterprise cloud data management firm Informatica has appointed Aslam Jamal as vice president of channels for the company's combined EMEA and LATAM region.
He will be responsible for managing, growing and strengthening the company’s strategic channel alliances and partnerships, while executing strategies to further accelerate market-share within the region, Informatica said.
Jamal will report to Gary Rider, senior vice president for EMEA and LATAM. Rider said: “Aslam is a well-respected leader in the tech industry with a strong track record of driving strategic success with channel partners. He will be an invaluable asset to our EMEA and LATAM leadership team as we continue forward with Informatica’s continued growth.”
Last year, the company launched its Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and new AI-driven solutions, and it also deepened its strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Jamal has over 20 years of experience driving channel growth for technology companies worldwide. Prior to joining Informatica, Jamal served as senior director of strategic alliances for EMEA at ForgeRock. He has also held senior leadership positions at Cisco, where he led channel and strategic partnerships for both the EMEA and LATAM regions.
Jamal said: “Informatica is undergoing strong growth as it works with its leading channel and ecosystem partners to help fuel its customers’ data-driven, AI-enabled digital transformations. My focus at Informatica will be to build on our strong channel alliances ecosystem to deliver incremental revenue, market share and differentiation.”
