German specialist in computer and network security solutions Infotecs has announced an appointment of Josef Waclaw as its new CEO. The company hopes that this nomination will help strengthen its market position and expand technology and distribution network across the EMEA region, it says.
He is also expected to help drive the strategic developments of high security solutions for the DACH region and further boost expansion of the company’s international sales partner network. Waclaw joined Infotecs in 2013 and worked as a Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Prior to this, he held various executive positions for over 20 years across distribution and marketing, including at Oracle and Sun Microsystems.
“I’m looking forward to the CEO position. Over the coming years, I plan to adjust our unique software technology for mobile security, industrial security, critical infrastructure and IoT markets. In particular, Infotecs will focus on cooperation with technology partners in the area of developing the solutions that can be easily customised to specific customers,” he says. Infotecs offers solutions for information and network security that include end-to-end encryption, next generation firewalls and endpoint security software.
