Distributor Ingram Micro Cloud UK is now working with CyberSmart which aims to help partners meet complex regulatory requirements. The deal follows CyberSmart’s recent announcement of £5.5million in Series A funding from IQ Capital.
CyberSmart’s technology aims to help by transforming convoluted regulations and policies into a straightforward digital checklist. Devices, both corporate and personal, will then undergo compliance checks that run continuously in the background. Should there be any shortcomings, users will be swiftly notified and offered a clear step-by-step guide to rectify the issue. In doing so, IMUK’s members will not only be able to provide Cyber Essentials certification but also be fully equipped to defend their customers against cyberthreats through year-round compliance. It says.
“SMEs are often neglected in cybersecurity. With a lack of resources and expertise, they are an easy target for bad actors. However, through IMUK’s help, we hope to extend our reach and foster a strong security culture across the channel, and in turn, SMEs across the UK,” shared Hugh Furness, Head of Channel Strategy at CyberSmart. “Through helping our clients and partners deliver Cyber Essentials as well as round the clock compliance, we hope to ease their minds on security concerns so that they can focus on what is most important – growing their business.”
Scott Murphy, Director – Cloud, Cyber, UCC, Ingram Micro UK&I shares this enthusiasm, expressing eagerness in building the Cyber Security presence within Ingram Micro Cloud, “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with CyberSmart. Always looking for the next best cloud solution to work with, CyberSmart presents immense opportunities to scale our partners’ digital transformation strategies in the cyber security space”
“Adding to our Cyber Security portfolio, CyberSmart aligns perfectly with our desire to create a unique environment in which our partners get the best in-house solutions, services and support,” concurs Colin McGregor, General Manager – Cyber Security, Ingram Micro UK.
