Ingram Micro to distribute Promethean’s IFPDs in UK

Promethean has expanded its UK market presence by appointing Ingram Micro as a new distributor for its ActivPanel interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs). 

This move, enhancing Ingram Micro’s foothold in the IFPD market, introduces a dual-distribution model alongside existing partner Midwich. 

Simon Port, Head of UKI Markets at Promethean, said: “Partnering with Ingram Micro and Midwich gives us the infrastructure to support our partners to be successful, while providing a solid platform for future growth.”

Ingram Micro will begin stocking and shipping the full range of Promethean products starting February 2024. 

This agreement is exclusive to the UK, with Exertis remaining the sole distributor in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
