MSP InterSystems has launched two new private cloud data centre service locations in the Republic of Ireland. The move enhances the hosted and cloud capabilities InterSystems can deliver to customers across Ireland and the rest of the European Union.
InterSystems’ decision to widen its private cloud capability in Ireland was driven by a recent partnership with the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE). The service was looking to implement an electronic patient record (EPR) system and, like many other healthcare organisations, preferred to host its sensitive data away from the public cloud in a secure private cloud instead.
InterSystems’ solutions are also available on private cloud instances in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Chile and the US, as well as most major public cloud providers around the world.
Eugene Rudman, director of managed services at InterSystems, said: “The high level of protection we offer, not only to health services, but also government services, other public sector bodies and private enterprises, should make our new secure cloud capability highly attractive to a wide range of organisations across the EU.”
