Intuita brings in partners head for data services

Data and analytics services firm Intuita has appointed Andy Leach as its director of strategic partnerships to help expand its enterprise client base.

He will be responsible for establishing and implementing a “robust” partner programme for on-boarding and “nurturing” the company's growing technology and academic partners base, said Intuita

Intuita focuses on delivering data solutions to the telco, retail, gaming, media and finance sectors.

Leach was previously director of solution architecture and enterprise data at Virgin Media, bringing a wealth of IT, data and end-to-end delivery management experience.

“Andy will support our ambitious strategy for growth,” said Glenn Merritt, managing partner and founder at Intuita. “We’ve built a solid foundation for our network of quality partners and he will lead the partner strategy to the next level, expanding that network and helping evolve the business.”

Leach (pictured) added: “My role, though focused on creating and building quality technology and academic partnerships, will also provide numerous challenging project and career opportunities for Intuita’s diverse employee talent base.”

Intuita’s recent strategic technology partnerships include Yugabyte, the company behind YugabyteDB, the open source, high-performance distributed SQL database for building global transactional applications.

The partnership, signed last month, aims to support transactional database cloud initiatives across EMEA. Intuita will bring its experience in cloud migration, transaction database implementation and digital transformation.

“With Intuita, UK and European organisations will be more successful, more quickly,” said Martin Gaffney, vice president of Yugabyte EMEA.
