Greg Wilson has been appointed Senior Editor of IT Europa. He takes over the role from industry veteran John Garratt.
Greg brings with him a wealth of reporting and editing experience, having worked across a wide variety of business and consumer publications in the Middle East and India.
“I am very excited to take over the reins on IT Europa from John Garratt. He and the team have done a great job building IT Europa into a powerful channel brand. I plan to build on that legacy,” he said.
Over the last 15 years, John has overseen the evolution of IT Europa from subscription-based print publication to online news site, and the diversification into industry research reports, whitepapers and associated business events.
“I intend to strengthen IT Europa as a digital and events platform. I look forward to working with the channel community across Europe to champion industry issues and share market intelligence,” he added.
“I look forward to reaching out to the industry in the coming weeks,” said Greg.
Greg started his career travelling around the Middle East for ITP Media Group as a tech reporter and went on to work on international editions of Time Out, Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar, and launch over 30 high-quality business to business magazines, websites and events, covering several industry verticals.
