IT Europa to stage first Security focused Leaders in Discussion forum

A forum for key industry figures to discuss the primary issues impacting the technology channel has been launched by IT Europa under the Leaders in Discussion banner, commencing with an online round table that will explore all aspects of the fast evolving and critical security market, highlighting where resellers and MSSPs are now in the changing business environment, where they need to be and how to get there.

On May 27th at 3pm BST the first Leaders in Discussion session will bring together leading stakeholders from across the security value chain to discuss the important theme - Building Core Skills for Partners – in a healthy debate that will see participants share views and insights openly.

The rapid growth of hybrid working, driven largely by Covid-19, means security is now acknowledged as a top priority by organisations and together with technological advances in automation, for example, the spotlight has fallen squarely on the security market as an even greater channel opportunity.

As well as analysing the anatomy of the security space the themes under discussion will also include sales and marketing optimisation, the nature of channel support, the future look of the security channel, skills and talent acquisition, and how to formulate a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that will enable you move forward with confidence.

Panelists and sponsors include:

  • Will Garside: ICT Commentator
  • Stephen Hennessy: Head of Cyber at Babble Cloud,
  • Amelia Paro: Cybersecurity Advisor, Channel Enablement & Sales Expert at ID Agent,
  • Kyle Torres: Channel Account Executive, MSP UKI/WER at Sophos
  • Rob Allen: VP of EMEA Operations at Threatlocker
