Microsoft solutions partner and MSP Infinity Group has appointed Kevin Brown as sales director. The newly created role will see Brown join as the company’s first ever purely sales-focussed member of the leadership team.
With over 15 years of experience in the industry and deep knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, Brown has driven growth and innovation in senior leadership and sales roles at leading IT services and consultancy organisations, from MSP Pythagoras (acquired by EY in 2021) to Arrk Group.
Most recently, he served as the sales director at HSO, where he led a team and significantly increased the company’s market share.
He said: “I am extremely energised to take up this exciting opportunity to contribute to what is already an amazing journey at Infinity. The decision to join was easy, given the opportunity to be part of an organisation uniquely placed to build something truly special in the Microsoft space. I can’t wait to see what the coming months hold.”

-Scottish scale-up Krucial, which utilises space technology to provide digital monitoring solutions for organisations with remote and dispersed assets, has announced two senior appointments to its commercial and executive team, as it gears up for continued global growth.
Graham Lenden joins Krucial’s executive team as chief commercial officer, while Anna Dawson comes in as head of energy. These two additions to the commercial team will see a new era for Krucial as they drive growth globally across high value industries, such as aquaculture, energy, infrastructure and food security.
Lenden has more than 30 years of experience in global executive leadership roles spanning across the automotive and technology industries, including as head of product marketing at Bentley, chief marketing officer of Aston Martin, UK/APAC sales director for Aston Martin, and chief marketing officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Dawson spent over 10 years working across the energy, oil and gas, and mining sectors, with roles focused on strategy and business development at brands including Deloitte and Equinor. She then moved from energy to satellite technology, joining Terrabotix in 2018, where she held an executive role as chief of staff driving commercial success.
-Fivetran, the global data movement specialist, has appointed Simon Quinton as general manager for EMEA, Suresh Seshadri as chief financial officer, and Anand Mehta as chief people officer. “These appointments reflect Fivetran’s focus on scaling its operations, fostering a strong, high-performing company culture, and expanding its global footprint,” the company said.
George Fraser, CEO of Fivetran, said: “These accomplished leaders bring unique expertise and perspectives that will be pivotal in driving the next phase of our growth and success.”
Quinton brings over 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise software, having held senior roles at leading companies like Salesforce, Infor and SAP. At Salesforce, Quinton served as senior AVP & GM for Tableau EMEA North, overseeing operations in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
-BT Group plans to recruit more than 600 apprentices and graduates for its September 2025 intake.
The company is set to recruit across diverse areas, such as cybersecurity, software engineering and customer service, to support the UK’s fast-growing digital sectors.
The new roles will be based at locations including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Darlington, Ipswich, Leeds, London, Manchester, Sheffield, and Warrington.
BT Group is the UK’s top private sector apprenticeship employer, recruiting more than 3,000 apprentices and graduates over the past five years.
Athalie Williams, chief human resources officer at BT Group, said: “I’m incredibly proud of the opportunities we provide to develop new talent at BT Group, and recognise the valuable contributions graduates and apprentices bring to the workforce. Last year alone, we recruited around 500 apprentices and graduates, all eager to learn, develop their skills, and help deliver better experiences for our customers.”
Last year, BT launched a new Apprenticeship Fund, designed to support SMEs, charities and public sector organisations across England, who can access up to £4m in apprenticeship funding over an initial four-year period.
