Jobs Board 16 May: Big channel players make key hires

Fivetran, the data movement specialist, has named Monica Ohara as its new chief marketing officer. Ohara brings a wealth of expertise, having served as VP of global marketing at Shopify, and having led rider and driver hyper-growth through the Lyft IPO.

-Logpoint, the provider of threat detection tools, has appointed Andreas Föhringer as regional director for its CEMEA region, including Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

-Pipedrive, the CRM offering for small businesses, has brought in Paulo Cunha as its new chief executive officer.

A seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience, Cunha has successfully driven growth for global organisations through marketing and product innovation.

Cunhaʼs appointment comes at a time of strong growth for Pipedrive, as the company advances its AI-first product vision.

-As part of Xerox’s acquisition of Lexmark International, the company has added two Lexmark executives to its executive committee, and Kim Kleps will serve as Xerox chief people officer.

The incoming executive committee members are Billy Spears, chief product development and delivery officer, and Chuck Butler, chief business services officer.

-MetaMinds Group, a Dubai-based “metaverse as-a-service” firm, and a specialist in spatial web technologies, has appointed former Richemont innovation lead Pedro Lopez-Belmonte as chief product officer.

The strategic hire comes as MetaMinds prepares to launch two major platforms in 2025, targeting a significant share of the immersive technology market, which, according to Global Market Insights, is projected to reach $50 billion by 2025.

-Distributor Exertis has announced two new support groups for its people to benefit from – fertility and men’s.

Employee resource and support groups play a core part in the people experience at Exertis. At their heart they champion talent and provide a safe space for those who identify as part of the community, said Exertis. Creating opportunities and platforms for meaningful dialogue and education, the groups also work in partnership with the people function to enhance policies and processes.

Exertis has had a trained mental health first aider support group for a number of years, which was complimented two years ago with women, ethnicity, and LGBTQIA+ employee resource groups being set up.

Last year the enable network (for neurodiverse and differently-abled colleagues) launched, as well as the menopause support group. The fertility and men's support groups were formed following colleague requests, said the distributor.

-Barracuda Networks has announced the appointment of Michelle Hodges as senior vice president of global channels and alliances. Hodges brings more than two decades of experience in transforming partner programmes for leading technology vendors. In her new role, she will spearhead Barracuda’s worldwide channel strategy, driving growth and deepening engagement across the company’s partner ecosystem.

-AMD has appointed Anjana Srinivasan to lead its EMEA commercial channel business. She joins from Microsoft, where she held the position of device partner sales field lead, UK.

Anjana's leadership will be central in advancing AMD's commercial channel strategy across the EMEA region.

-Nutanix has named Steven Teasdale as senior director and general manager for UK and Ireland sales.

-Delinea has appointed Alex Thurber as senior vice president of global channels.

With 25 years of global leadership experience, Delinea said Thurber has consistently driven channel innovation and spearheaded transformative go-to-market strategies, at organisations such as Riverbed Technology, Cisco, and McAfee.
