
Cisco and Microsoft partner Cisilion has appointed Matt Jones as head of sales.
Jones was formerly corporate sales director for the UK and Ireland at Softcat.
-Supply chain simulation technology organisation Kallikor has brought in Chris Brett as chief technology and product officer to “transform supply chain decision-making”.
Brett, former head of robotics at Ocado, has over 18 years of experience in developing intelligent automation and simulation systems.
Brett will lead the evolution of the vendor’s composable simulation digital twin platform, a system designed to make powerful scenario modelling tools accessible to non-technical users.
-NTT DATA UK and Ireland has named David Filmer as its new head of public sector business.
He joins after a decade at CGI, where he most recently served as senior vice-president consulting services for UK public safety business.
-Earlier this month, IoT services firm Wireless Logic welcomed General Atlantic, a global investor, as a new minority shareholder. Montagu will remain the majority shareholder, reinvesting alongside General Atlantic.
Vittorio Colao, vice chairman EMEA at General Atlantic, and former CEO of Vodafone and Italy’s former minister for technological innovation, has now joined the Wireless Logic board, alongside Sir Michael Rake, Wireless Logic chairman and former chairman of BT Group.

-Verne, the provider of sustainably-powered HPC data centres across the Nordics, has appointed Billy Nolan as chief development officer (CDO).
In the newly created role, Nolan will lead the development of all of Verne’s future data centre capacity, beginning with two major projects in the Helsinki region of Finland.
-Scintil Photonics has named Jim Theodoras as vice president of product development. The strategic hire comes at a pivotal juncture for the vendor, as it scales operations to support exponentially increasing volume demands for advanced photonics in AI data centres.
-Matillion, the intelligent data integration platform, has announced the arrival of former Google and Microsoft executive Frank Weigel as its chief of product, which includes developing the firm’s Data Productivity Cloud.
Weigel brings significant experience in the low-code/no-code space to Matillion, having been responsible for launching offerings like Microsoft Power Apps and Google App Integration, said Matillion.
-Gcore, the global edge AI, cloud, network, and security solutions provider, has strengthened its board with the addition of AI expert Feiyu Xu.
A renowned AI researcher, Xu has previously held pivotal leadership roles at SAP, Lenovo, and the German Research Centre for AI.
-Lakeside Software, the AI-driven digital employee experience company, has announced the appointment of Mike Stankowitsch as the company’s vice president of global channels.
-Cybersecurity leader Bitdefender has named James Johnson as regional director for Northern Europe and the Middle East.
