Kainos Group plc has bought yet another Workday services firm, this time Planalyse in the Netherlands.
Planalyse has been a Workday Adaptive Planning partner for over four years and provides its services to customers in the Benelux region, Spain and Portugal. The company supports Workday Adaptive Planning deployments and building forecasting models, as well as improving forecasting models already in operation.
The company’s team of six consultants will join Kainos’ European Workday Adaptive Planning team. Andre Remmelzwaan, founder and CEO of Planalyse, will continue as a consultant with Kainos to provide ongoing customer advice and assistance in the integration of the teams.
The acquisition is Kainos' fourth in the Workday Adaptive Planning ecosystem, after the acquisition of Formulate, Implexa and IntuitiveTEK, and further strengthens Kainos’ Workday Adaptive Planning delivery capabilities across Europe.
The value of the acquisition has not been disclosed. “I welcome the Planalyse team to Kainos,” said Brendan Mooney, CEO of Belfast, Northern Ireland-headquartered Kainos. “For over 16 years, Planalyse have been a leader in the deployment of financial planning and analysis solutions. In combining our two experienced teams, we are extending our ability to support our European customers with their Workday Adaptive Planning requirements.”
Andre Remmelzwaan added: “I am truly delighted for our talented team as they embark on an exciting new chapter with Kainos. I wish my former colleagues and Kainos every success in the next stage of their journey.”
Kainos has been a Workday partner for over a decade and operates across two divisions - digital services and the Workday practice. Three-quarters of the firm’s Workday consultants are based outside of the UK, contributing to 45% growth in non-UK revenue in the first half of FY22.
