Kainos pushes Workday business into Nordic region with Cloudator deal

Kainos has boosted its Workday business with a deal for Cloudator.

Kainos has extended its European market reach with the acquisition of Finland-based Cloudator Oy’s Workday division. The deal for an undisclosed amount, will add 55 Workday employees to Kainos’s own Workday business.

Cloudator has offices in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Estonia and the Netherlands, and employees scattered across 11 countries. Since 2012, it has participated in more than 100 Workday projects, in 20 industries.

“This acquisition confirms Kainos as one of the largest Workday partners in the Nordics region, underpinning our ability to support the accelerating customer base here in Europe,” said Mooney.

Cloudator will retain its payroll product, which works with Workday Human Capital Management. Jarko Uzal, CEO, Cloudator will continue to lead this part of the business.
