Telecoms expert Allison Kirkby has been appointed as the new CEO of BT, succeeding Philip Jansen.
Currently serving as CEO of Telia, she will assume her new role at BT in January 2024.
Kirkby's (pictured) earlier experience includes financial and operational roles at Procter & Gamble.
Adam Crozier, BT Group Chairman said: “Allison is a proven leader, with deep sector experience and a history of having transformed businesses.”
Kirby added: “Having been a member of the BT Group Board for the past four years, I’m fully supportive of our strategy and will help lead our next phase of development.”
