Lancope finds global tech partners

Building joint marketing and technical approaches with other vendors

Network visibility and security solutions specialist Lancope has launched its global Technology Partner Programme to foster the relationship with its existing partners and attract more networking and security industry leaders, it says.

The companies who have already joined are Palo Alto Networks, Barracuda Networks, Gigamon and Ziften, among others.

Additionally, under the new scheme the partners will be differentiated and rewarded accordingly and offered a few levels of technical support, training discounts and joint marketing activities depending on their input. With a strong product integration and better communication, the new partners will also go through a more formalised process of signing, the company adds.

“Amidst today’s high levels of network complexity and online threats, no single vendor or technology can provide a total security solution for enterprise networks. By aligning with other forward-thinking technology providers, we will be able to deliver some seamless network protection for our valued customers. We believe that working with Lancope and integrating with our award-winning StealthWatch System will be of great benefit to our technology partners, and we look forward to the contributions that these organisations will also bring to our business,” says Mike Potts, president and CEO of Lancope.

Lancope provides StealthWatch System which collects and analyses transactional data inherent in network infrastructure to detect both known and unknown attacks across the network, it says.
