Software-enabled services provider Lemongrass has formed a strategic, multi-year partnership with Microsoft to transform and modernise their SAP environment.
The agreement, which builds on the duo’s existing partnership, will focus on the co-development of SAP-centric solutions and services that leverage the capabilities of Microsoft Cloud and help maximise the value of customers’ SAP investments.
Microsoft said it will work with Lemongrass as a distinctive innovation partner, providing the firm with the opportunity to collaborate with the tech giant on design and engineering initiatives for SAP customers.
Additionally, Lemongrass will scale its Lemongrass cloud platform to fully integrate with Microsoft Cloud globally, a move that gives SAP customers the opportunity to benefit from Microsoft’s computing platform and Lemongrass’ services and automation.
Microsoft and Lemongrass teams will also closely engage on product and solution enhancements, the two firms said.
“We are delighted to have Lemongrass as a Strategic Partner,” said João Couto, commercial partner lead at Microsoft. “Our shared goal is to simplify the process of running SAP systems for customers, from migration through long-term support. Having gotten to know Lemongrass well through the partnership development process, we are confident they are the right choice to invest in and work with to grow our SAP on Microsoft business.”
Lemongrass says it’s a specialist in the planning, migration, operation and automation of SAP in the cloud. With nearly 6,000 SAP servers and 300,000 SAP users under its management, the firm helps customers extract value by moving and running their SAP systems in the cloud.
“We are very excited about our strategic partnership with Microsoft and collaborating with their engineering and sales teams,” said Mike Rosenbloom, CEO of Lemongrass. “Lemongrass and Microsoft have a common vision to drive a superior SAP operating experience and enable the highest level of agility and innovation in a secure, trusted cloud environment.”
