IT peripherals vendor Logitech International has named senior Unilever exec Hanneke Faber as its new CEO.
Faber (pictured) will take on the role effective 1 December, 2023, having previously led Unilever’s $14 billion Nutrition business as group president.
She has also previously held senior positions at retailer Ahold Delhaize and Procter & Gamble, where she was in charge of the global Head & Shoulders and Pantene brands, as well as the global beauty cosmetics business.
She is a member of the board of directors and audit committee of Tapestry, the parent company of brands Coach, Kate Spade New York, and Stuart Weitzman.
Faber will initially be based in Logitech’s headquarters in Switzerland, before relocating to Silicon Valley next year.
Guy Gecht is currently interim CEO. He will continue until Faber’s arrival, and then continue his board responsibilities, including leading the Technology and Innovation Committee.
“I cannot think of a more exciting time to be a part of the company's future growth,” said Faber. “Emerging technologies expand opportunities across hybrid work, video conferencing, gaming and streaming for Logitech and our users.”
