The Managed Services Awards makes its return on the 15th September after a year-long hiatus. Nominations open on 21st June and will close at the end of July. A short list of nominees will be released in early August, ahead of the awards ceremony mid-way through September.
“The awards are making a return in September,” said Michael O’Brien, managing director, IT Europa Media & Intelligence.
“Since we last hosted the awards, the industry has undergone seismic change. MSPs must constantly evolve if they are to stay of the competition. Increasingly, the most successful MSPs are the ones that strike a balance between value and price. This means MSPs must focus on efficiency and productivity, as well as technical and service innovation,” he added.
The awards ceremony will take place after the UK edition of the Managed Service Summit, at 155 Bishop’s Gate, London. The day-long conference will bring together industry speakers and vendors to discuss the key challenges facing the MSP community.
The 2021 edition of the awards will introduce several new categories, including the Most Innovative Managed Security Service Provider of the Year, Best new MSP and MSP CEO of the year. The awards categories are open to vendors and managed service providers.
“We have re-jigged the awards to better reflect this changing market,” explained O’Brien.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming a big crowd in September to celebrate the achievements of the last year and a half,” he added.
