Michel van der Bel, Microsoft's EMEA president is leaving the company after 21 years. Ralph Haupter, currently President, Microsoft Asia.is set to replace him.
Michel van der Bel had been UK managing director for the firm between 2012 and 2016.
His career at the company started in 1999, when Michel became the General Manager of Microsoft Netherlands. He then went on to become Microsoft International’s Vice President for Public Sector, concentrating on the implementation of a global public sector strategy. His next role led him to serve as Microsoft’s Chief Operating Officer in the Greater China Region.
