MSS 2022: ‘Big Debate’ to focus on helping MSPs stay relevant

This year’s annual ‘Big Debate’ at IT Europa’s Managed Services Summit will explore an important industry question that’s on everybody's mind: How can MSPs stand out and stay relevant in a crowded and disparate channel marketplace?

Now in its 13th year, MSS will return to Bishopsgate, London on 14 September, and will welcome a diverse group of MSP leaders from across the channel community to discuss the current state of the managed services sector; the challenges and opportunities facing MSPs today; and how they can differentiate themselves in a crowded marketplace.

Moderated by Will Garside, IT Europa’s Editor, the panel discussion will welcome several guests including Daniel Welling, Managed Director of Welling MSP; Neil Smith, Managing Director of ReformIT; and Paul Croker, Founder and Director, at 18iT.

“The Summit is a great opportunity for the community to get together and talk about the issues and technologies that will have a major impact for us all over the next few years,” said Garside. “The Big Debate is always a highlight of the day, and we look forward to some provocative questions from the audience to really drive the conversation.”

The day-long Summit also includes separate breakout tracks focused on business and technology, offering 22 presentations, 4-panel discussions, and 2 keynote sessions. The adjoining expo area offers delegates the opportunity to engage with over 40 leading technology and service suppliers focused on the MSP sector.

  • The conference session themes, topics and trends include:
  • How to maximise value and increase efficiencies for MSPs and their customers
  • Increasing knowledge of new technologies
  • Analysing trends in buyer behaviour
  • Assessing recent strides in digitalisation and business transformation
  • Security, compliance and zero trust architecture (ZTA)
  • Emerging advances in AI, automation and XaaS
