MSP cloud software provider Nerdio says it has doubled its annual recurring revenue, again, built around Microsoft’s Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
Carnival Cruise Line, Alorica, CoreLogic, Newmont Corporation, FNZ, and Aker Solutions have recently selected Nerdio to reduce the complexity of cloud-delivered Microsoft applications.
IT Europa is attending the vendor’s NerdioCon 2024 event in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic this week, which is bustling with leading MSP players and enterprise software resellers. Last year’s first NerdioCon event in Cancun, Mexico - which IT Europa also attended – attracted around 150 delegates, but Punta Cana has attracted around 600.
Nerdio builds on top of Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune to deliver hundreds of features that simplify management, ensure efficient operations, and lower Azure compute and storage costs “by up to 80%” via automation, Nerdio says.
The company not only previewed further product deployment improvements at the show this morning featuring artificial intelligence, but also trumpeted how its channel had grown in a year.
At last year’s event, the firm reported that the number of MSP partners had grown 150% in a year, and that there were 200 Enterprise partners on the company’s books.
Staff numbers also doubled in a year at the Chicago-headquartered firm, across 15 countries. And, like this time, annual recurring revenue had also increased 100%.
Company chief revenue officer Joseph Landes (pictured) told delegates this morning that the company had increased the number of its MSP partners by 120% in a year, and that $225m of Microsoft Azure business was now influenced by Nerdio software.
That revenue is a big jump from last year, when CEO Vadim Vladimirskiy told IT Europa: “The market where we operate will dictate which products we support. Around $100m of revenue going through the Azure channel is touched by us. It’s not our revenue but we help generate it with the services we provide to MSPs.”
To add to the positive news this time, Vladimirskiy told attendees: "We anticipate further growth throughout the year, nearly doubling our headcount to meet the evolving needs of customers seeking to modernise their workforce."
