New head at Buffalo Europe

Buffalo, a global provider of network storage, USB storage and professional networking solutions, has moved Satoshi Inaba to Managing Director at Buffalo EU B.V. Inaba will take over this role from Takehiko Inoue, who will return to his home country Japan.

"Satoshi Inaba has a wide range of experience and an exceptionally high level of expertise in doing business on an international level. This makes him exactly the right man to lead Buffalo EU into a continued successful future," said Takehiko Inoue.

Satoshi Inaba worked in senior management positions for over 15 years at various subsidiaries of the Buffalo headquarters Melco Holdings Inc. in Japan, North America, the Middle East and the APAC region. He worked directly for Buffalo from 2004 to 2009 as Chief Operating Officer of Buffalo Americas and for five years as Assistant General Manager of Buffalo APAC. Before joining Melco, Inaba was Alcatel's Country Manager, responsible for expanding sales and marketing activities in the LAN switch market in Japan. In his new position, Inaba is responsible for the management of Buffalo EU B.V. in the European market.

Commenting on his new role, Satoshi Inaba said: "We will continue to work to consolidate and further expand Buffalo's position in the European market".
