New Tel-Aviv office signals Databricks’ expansion in Israel

Databricks is aggressively pursuing expansion in Israel, setting up a new Tel-Aviv office and bringing on board Yannis Daubin (pictured) as the SEMEA VP to enhance the uptake of its lakehouse platform.

The company, recognising Israel's potential for growth, aims to increase its SEMEA team size by 50% in the coming fiscal year.

Daubin said: "The opportunity in Israel and across all of SEMEA is massive. I'm eager to see what we can accomplish this year and in the future."

Furthermore, Databricks has also hired Lior Tzabari as the Country Manager, who will lead the Tel Aviv team.
