Orange Cyberdefense’s new campus in Toulouse is a signal of the cybersecurity firm’s growth ambitions, according to CEO Hugues Foulon.
The facility aims to “accelerate the deployment of technical expertise as close as possible to regional public and private players” in Occitania and New Aquitaine.
It already hosts 60 employees who, together with the team of 20 people based in Bordeaux, make up the regional management of Orange Cyberdefense Grand Sud-Ouest (which covers Occitania and New Aquitaine), led by Thierry Bou, Orange Cyberdefense’s Regional Director.
Foulon said: “Our desire to build a safer digital society is based on the deployment of our expertise at the heart of the territories, as close as possible to our customers, with strong local roots to attract the best talents.
“We support regional companies on a daily basis, but also local authorities, as well as start-ups whose cybersecurity challenges, particularly in terms of technology (cloud, connected objects and industrial environments, autonomous vehicles, etc.), are particularly significant.”
