Norway's Confirmit logs 'record', jump in new business

Growth in analysis and data management

Norwegian communications solutions vendor Confirmit has reported “record” annual sales for 2016, and says it enjoyed a 60% increase in new business sales over 2015. Confirmit supports global companies and market research agencies with a range of software products for feedback/data collection, panel management, data processing, analysis and reporting.

"2016 was a year full of milestones for Confirmit, and we were proud to cap it off with this record revenue achievement and a stunning Q4," said Henning Hansen, outgoing Confirmit president and CEO. "I am pleased to see successes from every part of the business, from great performance in our established regions of EMEA and North America, to exceptional growth in Australia, just a year after we began operating there.”

Confirmit doesn't actually publish details of its results so the progress of the company is not totally clear. The company announced in January that long-serving CFO Ken Østreng would replace Hansen as president and CEO in April. Hansen has held the top job since 2005.

New customers won during 2016 included Aldermore Bank, Canada Goose, CUA, Deloitte CE, Ipsos Japan, Magna International, Metropress, Scandinavian Hospitality Management, Transport Focus, Wyndham Vacation Resorts, and Woolcott Research. Established clients include British Airways, Grant Thornton, Canon Solutions America, Nielsen, Philadelphia Insurance, Sony Mobile Communications and Virgin Money

Confirmit recently launched the FastTrack for Contact Centres solution, a customer feedback system that delivers insights, real-time case management and alerts to address customer issues. The company has offices in Oslo, Chengdu, London, Moscow, New York, San Francisco, Sydney and Vancouver. Confirmit's software is distributed through partner resellers in Madrid, Milan, Salvador and Tokyo.
