NTT Data UK has partnered with route2work as part of its ongoing commitment to foster more opportunities for women to accelerate their careers in the technology industry.
As part of the partnership, NTT Data UK will fund 100% of a scholarship programme for 30 female candidates, enabling them to enrol onto four academies focused on providing students with core in-demand Microsoft skills.

The digital skills they will develop in the academies are in high demand from prospective employers, equipping this new, more diverse pool of individuals for future success in our industry,” said Kate Daniels, portfolio director at NTT DATA UK.

NTT Data clarified that candidates aren't required to send their CVs or cover letters; instead, they will need to pass a skills assessment and meet enrolment criteria.
Once chosen, NTT Data scholars will form part of the broader cohort of candidates and join one of the four digital skills academy programmes.
The four academies include the Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer Programme, Microsoft Data Engineer Programme, Microsoft DevOps Programme, and Microsoft Power Platform (Business Intelligence) Programme, NTT Data said.
In each of the academies NTT Data is running, candidates will have the opportunity to develop their practical skills while having access to peer-to-peer learning and tutor support.
After candidates complete their course, they will then be invited to an interview with NTT Data and potentially start their career at the organisation, NTT Data said.
