NTT Ltd launches new cloud communications services division

$11bn-turnover NTT Ltd has launched its new global UK-headquartered Cloud Communications division, a “centre of excellence” for provisioning cloud communications services.

Previously known as Arkadin, the Cloud Communications division is a critical part to delivering NTT Ltd’s Intelligent Workplace solutions. The division will act as a “trusted advisor” to organisations looking to “accelerate modern collaboration” within their workplace, said NTT Ltd.

The division offers end-to-end tailored services supplementing the group’s consulting and deployment services, thereby enabling customers to realise the full benefit of their investment.

The Cloud Communications division will continue to work closely with its fully owned subsidiary Applicable Limited, a provider of cloud unified communications and enterprise voice services with offices in Bristol, UK; Brisbane, Australia; and Houston, US. Under the leadership of CEO Mark Alexander, Fiona Lodge and Jean Turgeon will now work closely with the existing regional and go-to-market teams to “drive the strategic evolution” of NTT Ltd’s cloud communications solutions.

Alexander said: “Both bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience which will help the division continue to provide best-in-class solutions, partnerships, assessments and consultations to customers on their digital transformation journeys towards an intelligent workplace.”

In her position as chief product and strategy officer, Lodge is responsible for strengthening the organisation's role as a trusted advisor in cloud-based unified communications and services. She will work closely with a network of key partners including Microsoft and Cisco. And in his position as chief technology and information officer, Turgeon will lead services adoption as clients undertake their business transformation journey.

They will both join the full Cloud Communications division leadership team:

-Mark Alexander, CEO of Cloud Communications

-Christophe Reyes, chief sales and marketing officer

-Vianney Motte, chief financial officer

-Florence Mas-Pastor, chief human resources and legal officer

-Andrew Pearce, managing director for EMEA

-Scott McMaster, managing director for Americas

-Sean Kwek, managing director for APAC and Japan

-Alan Baldwin, managing director at Applicable Ltd

NTT Ltd, which was formed out of the NTT Group last July, launched a new Global Data Centers division at the beginning of this year, which incorporated the firm's e-shelter, Gyron, Netmagic, NTT Indonesia Nexcenter, RagingWire and other data centre companies. These firms formerly sat under the NTT Communications brand. The newly branded division operates one of the largest data centre platforms in the world, with over 160 data centres spanning more than 20 countries and regions.
