Security management services firm Opengear has appointed Patrick Quirk as senior vice president and general manager. He will oversee Opengear’s global operations, driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives in the data centre and network management markets.
Quirk said: “Joining Opengear at this stage is an exciting opportunity to build on its strong foundation and drive further advancements. I look forward to working with the talented team at Opengear and parent company Digi International, to continue delivering exceptional value to our customers and expanding our global footprint.”
He joins Opengear from Nautilus Data Technologies, where he served as chief technology officer, spearheading the company’s transformation from a data centre operator to a technology provider.
His prior experience includes executive roles at Vertiv, Emerson Network Power, LSI, and Motorola.
