Oracle now has enhanced cloud services in the United Kingdom. It follows plans to expand its cloud infrastructure footprint, including 12 new datacentre regions and increasing the breadth and depth of Oracle Cloud services available across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The UK Region offers versatile cloud infrastructure services that aim to deal with the complexities of shifting to the cloud, it says. The new services support both cloud-native workloads and traditional applications, allowing customers to create cloud solutions that suit their individual businesses.
The UK Region is made up of three physically separate, high bandwidth, and low latency sites that operate in independence from each other to ensure the highest level of fault tolerance, says Oracle. Customers can also take advantage of Oracle's FastConnect service in the UK Region.
The expanded UK Region will offer a wide range of Oracle PaaS and IaaS services, including Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
