Pax8 moves into the Baltics with TVG acquisition

Cloud services marketplace and distributor Pax8 has acquired TVG, a Baltics cloud services distributor.

The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, marks Pax8's first direct presence in the Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

“This acquisition enables Pax8 to expand into the Baltic states to offer partners access to its marketplace, education and localised support,” said John Street, chief executive officer at Pax8. “We are enabling partners worldwide to capitalise on the market opportunities with cloud technology and drive digital transformation.”

Headquartered in Riga (pictured), Latvia, TVG has been operating in the Baltics for over 20 years, and serves more than 1,000 partners. It is an authorised Microsoft CSP Indirect Provider, and its solutions portfolio includes Adobe, Corel, Altaro, TeamViewer and ManageEngine, among many other vendors.

Street added: “We welcome TVG's employees and partners to provide a world-class client experience.”

Earlier this week, Axcient, a specialist in business availability software for managed service providers, said its x360Recover Direct-to-Cloud solution is now available globally through the Pax8 cloud marketplace. Pax8 is the first distributor to offer Axcient’s x360Recover to the IT channel.
