Global security services and consulting firm Performanta has appointed former NTT Security COO Quentene Finnegan as its new chief operating officer to “pioneer managed cyber safety as a market category” at the firm and support growth aspirations.
Finnegan (pictured) brings more than 20 years of professional experience to Performanta. Most recently, at NTT Security, he built and lead a consulting and managed services division.
Finnegan was also previously senior vice president and global head of consulting at Dimension Data. Prior to that he served as vice president of professional services for EMEA and APAC at SAS.
“We welcome Quentene at a critical and exciting point in our business evolution as we step ever closer to establishing cyber safety as a recognised market category,” said Guy Golan, chief executive officer of Performanta.
“I’m joining the Performanta leadership team at a time of growth, where there is a clear opportunity to scale the business,” added Finnegan.
“In my role, I will enable the vision of Performanta to become a reality for our customers, helping businesses reduce the risk they face from cyber attacks and lowering the impact of a potential breach."
Performanta was founded in 2010 and has over 170 staff worldwide, with 80 analysts working across two SOCs, helping to secure customers across 50 countries. It has offices in the UK, Australia, Germany, South Africa and the US.
