Data authorisation software vendor PlainID has appointed Stuart Hodkinson as its new VP EMEA.
Hodkinson will drive new business efforts for PlainID as it looks to expand its footprint in the region. In addition to building out the sales team, he will coordinate business development efforts with partner and marketing teams.
Hodkinson has previously held sales and leadership positions at Courion, Sun Microsystems, Transmit Security, Arkose Labs and ForgeRock.
“It is an exciting time to be joining PlainID, especially as the wider authorisation space is growing so rapidly,” said Hodkinson. “PlainID’s dynamic approach to authorisation offers organisations peace of mind when securing their digital environments.
"I look forward to utilising this market growth trajectory to establish a European community of customers that recognise the relevance of authorisation.”
Tom Ammirati, chief revenue officer at PlainID, said: “Stuart is a well known and highly respected executive leader in the identity and security industries across Europe. His appointment demonstrates PlainID's commitment to serving our customers and partners across the region."
PlainID enables organisations to create, manage and enforce authorisation policies across an enterprise. By securely connecting identities to digital assets via PlainID Authorisers, firms "can meet the digital demands of user journeys, enable zero trust architectures and provide data security", said the firm.
