Cybersecurity firm Proofpoint has finalised its acquisition of London-based cloud email security specialist Tessian.
This move aims to enhance organisation’s defense against human-related security risks by merging Tessian's technology with Proofpoint's portfolio.
Darren Lee, EVP and GM of Proofpoint’s Security Products and Services Group, said: “Tessian’s technology will further enhance Proofpoint’s threat and information protection platforms by adding powerful layers of AI-powered defense that address risky user behaviours, including misdirected email and data exfiltration.”
The advanced solutions from this union are set to debut in early 2024, though financial details remain undisclosed.
