Former channel leader and former Google exec Ghazal Asif has joined zero-trust data security company Rubrik as its VP of global partners and alliances.
Asif’s primary responsibilities will be to lead Rubrik’s global channel and partner strategy by driving continued growth and engagement with current and future partners.
“We keep investing in the success of our extensive partner strategy and Ghazal’s leadership and channel experience will continue to fuel our data security growth,” said Brian McCarthy, chief revenue officer at Rubrik. “She will act as a catalyst for scaling our partner enablement and accelerating our go-to-market channel strategy around the world.”
Asif (pictured) joins Rubrik from Google, where she served as head of channel partners in EMEA for Google customer solutions. During her tenure, she helped lead the firm’s channel go-to-market strategy and execution in the region.
Previously, she held various channel leadership roles at Cybereason, AppDynamics, and Cisco Meraki, leading their transformational efforts while driving triple-digit growth globally.
