Barcode printing, labelling and EPC/RFID solutions specialist SATO has opened its new European Logistics Centre in Wroclaw, in Poland.
The new centre, which will replace the previous one in Rotterdam, has been chosen due to its more central location in Europe and its close proximity to German border, the company says.
The new hub is expected to help optimise SATO’s customer service and back-office operations, ensuring more effective logistics and deliveries throughout Europe, it says. Additionally, all current orders for barcode printing will be transferred to Wroclaw.
“Our commitment to offering customers the very best levels of service was behind our decision to open this new central Logistics Centre. Replacing our previous Logistics Centre to Rotterdam, the new centre is ideally located at the very heart of Europe, near the German border to effectively deliver our wide range of barcode printers to our European customers,” says Makoto Hayama, Managing Director at SATO International Europe.
