IT reseller and service provider SCC has expanded its operations further with a new Leeds, West Yorkshire office that will open next month. It will initially employ ten and has the capacity to accommodate a further 30 across sales, support and engineering.
SCC will join a wide variety of high-profile neighbours at its new location, including Equifax, Sky Betting & Gaming, Willis Towers Watson and Irwin Mitchell.
SCC’s decision to open up a new sales office in Leeds is “built upon the continued growth the SCC North West commercial business has seen over the past few years”, said the company. “In order to further scale and develop the business, a presence in the Yorkshire region, in a modern and dynamic business district with close links to the UK rail network, is ideal,” it said.
Leeds has the largest legal, finance and professional services market outside of London, and SCC “aims to show these clients that as a local system integrator, we can transform their current IT and business processes”, it added.
James Rigby, chief executive at SCC, said, “The new 1 Wellington Place office was chosen thanks to its modern working environment and unrivalled amenities, including green space, community events and close proximity to transport links, which will help us to attract new and valued talent.”
The Birmingham-headquarterd VAR has other UK offices in London, Belfast, Bracknell, Glasgow, Livingston, Warrington, Newcastle, Nottingham and Bristol.
